Scotch on the Rocks - Wormhole presentation

Category: General , Wormhole , Flex , ColdFusion

We are all ready to present Wormhole (Our Messaging Manager for Flex/ColdFusion) at Scotch on the Rocks (4th June 2008).

After a lot of preparation, we finally have all the code complete along with a bunch of demos and a series of PowerPoint slides. If you haven't heard of it yet, Wormhole is a Messaging Manager which will save you a heap of time and grief if you are writing a Flex application which needs to talk to a ColdFusion server.

Since Wormhole is debuing at Scotch on the Rocks it won't be available for general download until then, but if you have an urgent need of this sort of thing, then you an always Contact Me and ask for a preview copy.

If you're going to be at Scotch on the Rocks then you'll see the presentations about our spin-off company, Venture Programmers which is also launching into business at the conference. We are hoping that the pre-launch interest is going to continue and that we'll have plenty of you developers signing up to get involved. If you're not going, then just check out the website: www.Venture-Programmers.com, which is currently in preview mode, but will be launched fully on 4th June.

Thanks to those who attended my talk at Scotch today. It was rather nerve wracking being my first ever public talk, but everyone was rather kind and made it easy on me! :)

If you have any comments on the talk or the code/documents you've downloaded, please leave them here. I'm sure I'll get roped into doing the talk again - and may well turn it into an article for Fusion Authority, so any comments will help me to improve it for next time.

Also, any comments for improvements or additional features for Wormhole will also be gratefully received!

    Ian
